KILLA KELA is arguably one of the world’s most talented and forward thinking multivocalists. From song writing to producing, sound tracks to sound effects, Kela is at the forefront of beatbox culture.

He has performed/recorded along side such heavyweights as; Pharrel [N*E*R*D], Justin Timberlake, Travis Barker, DJ AM, Roots Manuva, DJ Craze, Z-Trip, Scratch Perverts, World Of DN’B, Does It Offend You? Yeah?, Shy FX, Plan B, Dizzee Raskel, Hadouken, Marc Ronson, Bassment Jaxx, Morcheeba, Super Furry Animals, Lady Sov, TestIcicles, Adam Freeland, Athlete, Snoop Dogg, Alain Brax/Stardust to name a few.

Kela has recently been working alongside the mighty Martin Rushent, Alan Braxe, Hadouken, Bashy, Lateef, Dioyy, Shaolin Punks and DJ Craze creating his new album, aptly entitled ‘Amplified!’

But that’s not all! KILLA KELA will be joined by none other than FRANZ FERDINAND’S drummer ANDY KNOWLES and the multi-award winning DJ SKELETRIK in a full stage show that will leave you speechless!

Expect elements of Hip Hop, Electro, Drum & Bass and anything else the band decide to throw in.

Alongside these heavyweights will be some amazing local artists performing. KIM, an incredibly talented Ha Noi based MC will be showing off her skills alongside KIEN BEATBOXER. There will also be a breakdance battle between the top two crews in Ha Noi, BIG TOE and HALLEY CREW and  a DJ [TBC] who will get the party warmed up just right. Ha Noi represents!

Noi Zee Presents Battle Royale – Gong DJ Competition 2009 @ LOOP

Friday 27th March

We have a real treat for you. The finest DJs Hanoi has to offer, all under one roof, battling for the crown. Whatever style you’re into one of these guys will cater to your taste.

Format

Each DJ will have 20 minutes to prove his worth. The DJs will battle to impress the crowd and the panel of judges.

How will the DJs be judged?

Firstly you, the public will decide on The People’s Choice by voting with a pencil and with your feet. There will be voting cards inside the venue and we’ll also award bonus points to the DJs that get the dancefloor rocking.

There will also be a panel of judges who will judge the DJs based on originality, creativity, mixing skills and above all the DJ’s ability to work a party! The champion will be decided by a showdown between the Judge’s Choice and The People’s Choice.

Great prizes will be given to the DJs.

Doors open at 21.00 and the battle begins at 22.00

An event like this will only work with your participation. We urge you to get there early to hear all the DJs.

This event is sponsored by Jagermeister and there will be free Jagerbombs to get the party started.

He’s back to finish what he started!

Our friend Ruudboy returns to Hanoi for the third time to tear the place up. For those of you who were at ‘365′, you know what this guy is all about. On that occassion the police stopped him just as he was getting the place bouncing. Now he’s back to finish what he started!

Noi Zee Residency @ LOOP. Part 1 – Special Guest DJ DEZZ

Noi Zee promotions is proud to announce it’s residency at Loop club in Hanoi. As from next month you will be able to hear the quality tunes you expect from the Noi Zee crew every four weeks. We’ve got some great special guest DJs rocking into Hanoi for your pleasure.

All events will kick off at 9pm and as you know, if you attended our Christmas party, will roll on into the early hours. Entry will be 70,000VND on the door or for those of you that are a bit more organized, advanced tickets can be brought from Loop and Funky Buddha for the special price of 50,000VND. These prices include one free drink….ANY drink. We’ll also have Halida bottles at 20,000VND, all night, at all events.

DJ Dezz is widely known as one half of the regular duo who plays at the legendary Tube after-parties in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In September 2006, he bagged the 2nd runner up in the Heineken Juice Magazine DJ Quest 2006 and also secured a place in the much technically anticipated Pioneer Digital DJ Battle Final in December 2006. In addition he was given a chance to be among one of the first Malaysian DJs to host his own radio show on the much acclaimed Digitally Imported Radio from New York (www.di.fm).

Recently, DJ DEZZ became resident DJ for ASOUND.
