Noi Zee proudly presents HYPE….a day and night of fantastic music and entertainment.

The headline act for this show is the world’s number one beatboxer KILLA KELA with drummer extraordinaire ANDY KNOWLES and DJ SKELETRIK.

This is KILLA KELA’s second visit to Hanoi. In July last year, he rocked an amazing show which left the audience astounded by his talent and sheer stage energy. If you missed that show, check out the photos to see what you can expect this time around.

This fantastic live show is made up of:

Killa Kela – Lead vocals / beatbox – The best beatboxer on the planet and renowned multi-vocal pioneer.

Andy Knowles – Drums – Previously toured for two years with Franz Ferdinand as well as working alongside The Cribs and the Fiery Furnaces. There is no greater showman behind the drums out there!

DJ Skeletrik – Turntables / Sample station – Kela’s long standing DJ/collaborator, behind some of London’s most infamous club nights and voted sexiest male GQ 2003.

Q-BIK & SEEKA MC

Perth-based New Zealand Drum and Bass DJ/Producer Q-BIK with his partner in crime, SEEKA MC will be making their Vietnam debut and bringing their unique vibe to the day. Q-BIK is Australia’s most in demand Drum and Bass DJ and is fast gaining a reputation on the international scene. Q-BIK will be flying into Vietnam on the back of his first European/UK tour where he has been playing to sell out audiences with the biggest names in the Drum and Bass scene. Q-BIK was the producer of the hugely successful worldwide hit “My House”.

MC GRAMSCI

MC GRAMSCI will be hosting the day as well as giving a very special lyrical showcase. He’ll be performing some original tunes, showing of his freestyle magic and involving the audience in his unique show.

There will be support throughout the day from Hanoi-based DJs and bands including the fantastic Tri Minh, Hanoi Bossa Nova, The Props, JC, Polo and more to be confirmed.

All of these DJs and bands will be blasted to you from Vietnam’s best sound system!

ENTERTAINMENT

As well as some quality music we also have non-stop activities and shows to keep you entertained throughout the day.

NAM THE MAN

NAM THE MAN will be making a very special appearance on the day. He will showcase his skills on the main stage and hold workshops, so you too can learn the skills of the world’s top football freestyler. NAM is the twice current European Champion as well as the current All Ireland Champion. His shows are visually spectacular and guaranteed to leave you in awe of his amazing skills. NAM recently judged the CLEARmen freestyle football competition in HCMC which attracted a massive 15,000 strong crowd. He also came to Hanoi with the ten finalists and performed in front of 5,000 people.

SKATE PARK

On the day, there will be Hanoi’s only custom built skate park, in which Hanoi’s top thirty skaters will battle it out in a competition for four-wheeled domination. There will also be an opportunity for you to have a go.

FOOD & DRINK

There will be a Noi Zee bar serving a selection of beers, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks all day. We will also be running special happy hours throughout the day.

Food will be provided by R&R Tavern, The Oasis and India Palace who will be serving burgers, Mexican food, sandwiches, pizzas, hot dogs and a selection of curries.

KIDS ENTERTAINMENT

There is also plenty of fun for all the family as well as NAM THE MAN’s workshops and the skate park there will also be a bouncy castle, face painting, adventure playground and much more.

All through the day we will be giving away special prizes. There will be Adidas gear up for grabs, clothing from Boo Skate Shop, vouchers for restaurants and bars, hotel and wine gifts. There will also be the chance to win the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz phone. This is the first phone with an integrated HD video camera and is worth $800.
